The cable drum houses a cable length of up to 1,640 ft and the modular and thought through design of the robot tractor allows pipeline inspections from 4" and up to 60" in diameter. The SIGMA 100 HD tractor has a 6x6 drive that is powered by two electric motors. Integrated into the tractor are several sensors that measure the internal pressure, incline of the pipeline, turn of the pipeline, and the roll of the tractor. These signals are reported to the contorl post of the inspection unit and offer valuable information for the inspection.
There are several options for the control modules, the first one being your own tablet with our software for the control and operation of the inspection robot. The standard monitor is the next step up and usually suffices for most inspections. It is equipped with 17" display monitor and a 10" touchscreen display as well as joystick control for tractor operation. The control box has an integrated computer and software that allows the operator to record the inspections and generate a report.
